Ok so I'm not sure if this is the correct way to post stuff on the blog, but I think so. The lecture on Monday wasn't too exciting. A lot of the information, such as the fact that the balloting in Florida didn't work, was already common knowledge to me. The one interesting part was the lecturer's opinion on the role of the Supreme Court. He talked about how in 2000, the Supreme Court backed away from electoral reform, and how real reform needs to come from the courts.
